You might even be our next feature story...
Foresta Opens in Louisville
Foresta - A Musical WonderlandAfter months of hard work and planning, Gist Piano Center and Roland Corporation, U.S. are proud to announce the grand opening of Louisville's new Foresta.  Taking its name from the Italian word for "forest," Foresta represents an entirely new way to select an instrument. Using state-of-the-art video presentations, interactive web demos and a logical, "hands-on" approach, Foresta provides piano shoppers with real world solutions in a comfortable, zero-pressure environment.

Available only to a handful of select Roland dealers in the United States (The Louisville Foresta is the only one in Kentucky), Foresta is the result of a $30,000 investment into Gist Piano Center Louisville by Roland Corporation, U.S.

The new Roland Foresta is open now and will be featured in the next issue of Piano Quarterly.  If you'd like to tour this amazing new facility, contact us and we'll be happy to show you around our new musical wonderland.

New Faber 2nd Edition Coming
Attention Piano Teachers! Faber and Faber has just announced the Second Edition of their popular Piano Adventures series. The updates include enhanced reading strategies, a new progress chart, integration between lesson and theory books, several new pieces for study, improvisational activities and a new challenge section.  Another welcome addition is the Sightreading book - designed to build strong readers from the earliest days of lessons.  Finally - coming in June - Faber has added a Primer Teaching Guide - a valuable resource for teachers of all experience levels.

In the announcement, Faber reassured teachers who love the original series that nothing from that series has been removed in the Second Edition.  The Primer and Level 1 books are shipping now. Order copies from Piano Takeout now and we'll make sure we have some set aside for you.

Finally - for those who love the old series - mention the code word "Primer" when you visit us in Louisville or Lexington and we'll give you 25% OFF the original Faber & Faber series (Primer and Level 1 books only). Hurry, we expect to sell out of them quickly!
